St. Andrew's Vestry
The vestry is the legal representative of the parish with regard to all matters pertaining to its corporate property. The basic responsibilities of the vestry are to help define and articulate the mission of the congregation, to support the church's mission by word and deed, to select the rector, to ensure effective organization and planning, and to manage resources and finances.
According to the bylaws of St. Andrew's, the vestry consists of twelve members, elected to staggered, three-year terms at the annual meeting of the parish in January. The presiding officer of the vestry is the rector. A secretary and treasurer are appointed and attend vestry meetings but do not vote. The senior warden, junior warden, treasurer, and rector comprise the Executive Committee of the vestry.
The vestry joins in welcoming you to St. Andrew's! Our current members are listed below, and you are encouraged to approach them with your comments or concerns about the church's mission and organization.
